Tourism Management

  1. About the Program

Despite conjunctural fluctuations in tourism demand, both domestic and international tourism continue to grow in Turkey and around the world. This tendency is expected to continue in the upcoming years. For this reason, there is a need for managers and researchers who are experts in the tourism sector for the sustainable management of transportation, accommodation, food and beverage, recreation and other tourism enterprises that satisfy the needs, demands and expectations of visitors and other stakeholders at the micro level. Besides, managers and researchers are also needed for the development and management of sustainable tourism which will maximize the positive economic, socio-cultural and environmental impacts of tourism activity and minimize the negative economic, socio-cultural and environmental impacts at the macro level. Master Program in Tourism Management aims to train qualified human resources that will meet the above mentioned needs of the tourism sector and tourism businesses in a multidisciplinary approach.
