Program Description: Health Management (Thesis) Master's program is a two-year postgraduate program.

It is a department established to train professional managers who can produce services by making use of modern technological facilities and management techniques in making health services more qualified, efficient and effective. Its main purpose is to train health managers who can make strategic plans, have vision, and have advanced problem solving skills. In this program, it is aimed to implement comprehensive education programs, which are advanced and specific for health management, such as management and organization in health institutions, health policies, health economics, information systems in health institutions, human resources management in health institutions, strategic management in health institutions, financial management in health institutions.

Students who successfully complete and graduate from the department have the potential to be employed as a manager in charge of administrative, financial and technical affairs in a wide range of services including general health management as well as various health institutions and organizations affiliated to public and private sectors, especially hospitals.

Program Qualifications

1. Develops and deepens his / her knowledge at the level of expertise in the same or different field based on their undergraduate level qualifications.

2. Has the right and experience to participate internal, national and international scientific meetings during / after graduation.

3. Carries out a study independently by using his / her knowledge in the field of health management and can make teamwork with other professional groups working in this field.

4. Shares the current developments in health management and his / her thoughts and suggestions with the internal and external stakeholders of the institution he / she works in orally or in writing.

5. To be able to analyze computer software at a level that is capable of analysis and to be able to use health informatics and communication technologies in advanced level.

6. Develops strategies, policies and implementation plans in the field and evaluate the results within the framework of quality processes.
